Overview
Jacqueline Leighton Boyce works with red terracotta clay, generally using coiling and slab building techniques. She 'paints' using slips, underglaze colours and scraffitto drawing. After firing the pieces twice, she then applies metallic lustres and fires once again.

Jacqueline Leighton Boyce grew up on a farm on Exmoor and after living in London, America and other UK cities, she returned back to my Exmoor roots. She graduated with a 1st Class BA Hons degree in Ceramic Design from the Central St Martins College of Art in 1989, and then completed an MA at the Central St Martins specialising in Ceramic Illustration.
